The production output of glass greenhouses is four times that of ordinary greenhouses

For greenhouse growers, the first thing they care about is the yield of a glass greenhouse. Is it much different from an ordinary greenhouse? In fact, the production capacity of glass greenhouses is affected by many conditions, most of which come from operations. Li Zhi, an associate researcher at the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said that "controlling key variables is the key to increasing yields." The factors that affect agricultural crop yields are light, temperature, water, and chemical fertilizers. In the glass greenhouse, all these are intelligently controlled.

Greenhouse scattering glass and indoor top lights are the "valve" of light and temperature: the scattering glass used in greenhouses is very "smart". Scattering glass will input all the heat into the room without "escaping". According to the growth cycle of tomatoes, the master control room will give the optimal heat value for tomato growth every day. Therefore, when the heat absorbed by the glass reaches this value every day, the sunshade will be automatically lowered. To make up for the lack of indoor lighting, high-pressure sodium lamps and LED lights on the roof will be turned on automatically.

The control of water and fertilizer is equally smart: there is a monitor at the end of the nutrient tank in the greenhouse. Real-time display of nutrients in the tank, indoor carbon dioxide content and humidity changes. "The monitor is connected to the computer in the main control room, and then controlled at any time." In the state of "supplying whatever is missing", the fruit-bearing period of tomatoes is only about 10 weeks, which saves half the time compared to traditional greenhouses.

Different nutrient solutions are configured according to different growth stages of tomatoes, and unabsorbed nutrient solutions are recycled to ensure that every drop of fertilizer can be utilized. Dedicated fertilizer allows crops to embark on the "highway" to high yields from the seedling stage.

Glass greenhouses have "stable output, long cycle times, and excellent tomato quality." Due to superior growing conditions and high intelligence, glass greenhouses can produce almost all varieties of tomatoes in the world. Even if they are different varieties, the results grown in glass greenhouses have more obvious advantages in taste and nutrition.

The picking cycle of tomatoes is as long as 9 months, so they can be marketed off-season. Small tomatoes are frequent customers in KTV, Haidilao, and supermarkets, and can be eaten directly as fruit. Different varieties of tomatoes have different prices. The price of ordinary tomatoes ranges from 8 yuan/jin to 20 yuan/jin for high-quality tomatoes.

Under such perfect cultivation conditions, the yield of glass greenhouses per square meter is about 15-30 kilograms, and a single picking of one acre of land is about 9-15 tons. The overall yield is four times that of tomatoes grown in ordinary greenhouses;

The success of glass greenhouses comes largely from the operation of the greenhouse. The growth of tomatoes requires people to take care of them. Only by raising "white and fat" tomatoes can they have a high yield and a good harvest.
