Material and Durability
Aging Resistance: Given the high temperature and humidity in greenhouse environments, UV-resistant and corrosion-resistant composite materials (such as PPE) should be used to prevent cracking or adhesive loss after long-term use.
For high-quality, long-lasting sticky insect tape, the application rate should be ≥ 70 grams per square meter to ensure that the adhesive strength does not significantly decrease within one year, maintaining high trapping efficiency.
Targeted Insect Attraction
Color Classification
Yellow sticky tape targets yellow-feeding pests such as aphids, whiteflies, and leafhoppers and is suitable for most greenhouse crops.
Blue sticky tape targets blue-feeding pests such as thrips and should be used alone or in combination depending on the greenhouse pest species.
A double-sided adhesive design improves trapping efficiency. The adhesive layer should be evenly applied and free of bubbles to prevent pest escape.
Environmental Protection and Safety
Choose non-toxic, non-polluting, and environmentally friendly glue to avoid harm to crops or operators.

Pre-Installation Preparation
The installation temperature should be maintained between 20°C and 40°C to ensure the adhesive layer is soft and easily unrolled.
Tools: Yellow tape clips, wire, scissors, a measuring tape, and gloves (to avoid contact between the adhesive and skin).
Installation Steps
Securing the Sticky Insect Tape Clips
Arrange the clips along the length of the greenhouse trough, spacing them 3-5 meters apart to ensure even coverage.
Use yellow tape clips to secure the sticky tape to the wire of the planting trough, avoiding direct contact with doors and windows (to prevent attracting external pests).
Adjusting the Hanging Height
Initial Height: The bottom edge of the sticky tape should be 10-15 cm above the top of the plant.
Dynamic Adjustment: Raise the height periodically as the crop grows to ensure the sticky tape remains above the crop canopy.
Hanging Direction and Angle
Allow the insect tape to face east-west to maximize natural light and enhance its attractant effect.
Hang the tape vertically to avoid tilting, which can cause uneven adhesive coverage and dust accumulation.
Post-installation Inspection
Confirm that the insect tape is free of wrinkles, tears, bubbles, or loose adhesive.
Record the installation position and height for future maintenance and replacement.
